Fundamentals of ICT and Digital Literacy
The Fundamentals of ICT and Digital Literacy course is designed to provide learners with a basic understanding of information and communication technologies (ICT) and how to effectively use them in today’s digital age. This course is suitable for beginners and those who want to enhance their digital skills.
Throughout the course, learners will be introduced to the basics of computer hardware and software, the internet and web browsing, social media, email, and basic digital security. They will also learn how to use productivity software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher and Google Suite, as well as the fundamentals of creating and sharing digital content.
The course includes both theoretical concepts and practical exercises, allowing learners to apply their knowledge and build their skills. By the end of the course, learners will have a solid foundation in ICT and digital literacy, enabling them to confidently navigate the digital landscape and effectively use technology to their advantage.
